What To Expect
Playa El Cielo
Passengers will board the ship at the selected time, and from the dock of their choice.
Upon leaving the dock, you will sail for 20 minutes, to reach the Colombian reef, where you can snorkel, for 30 minutes. Finishing the snorkeling, you will sail for 10 more minutes to reach "El Cielo", there we will serve you your food in a floating basket, so you can relax in the turquoise blue waters, while enjoying our delicious ceviche prepared with the catch of the day.
"El Cielo", a sandbar, unique in the Mexican Caribbean, for its beauty and tranquility. In this place you can see starfish and stingrays.
The tour will end after 5 hours, at the dock where I board the boat.

Best time ever! We went out as a group (daughter, nephew, parents, grandparents). They accommodated us all! We hit three snorkeling spots and had and amazing snack on the water at El Cieto wadding with the stingrays. This excursion was the best by far and we would definitely do it again!

Our family had an amazing time on this trip. The hosts were great and the boat was very clean and in excellent condition. They gave us suggestions on what to do, but they left it totally up to us based on what we wanted out of the trip and our schedule. We are novice snorkelers, but we felt safe and taken care of the entire time. We could spend as much or as little time at the various spots as we liked. The hosts were very attentive with the food and drinks - always asking what we wanted. I would highly recommend this excursion.
Great Tour apart from labor pay concerns

the experience of the tour itself was awesome. private guides took us to awesome snorkeling locations to see manta-ray, giant star fish, coral, etc.. beautiful water, beautiful coral..... only downer was at the end the staff told me they work for tips and dont get paid. I paid a lot for a private boat tour so this was disappointing to hear and I felt pressure to tip. I complained to management that they should pay their staff and they told me their staff are paid well and were upset to hear this....... either management or the tour guides aren't telling the truth. tour itself and logistical considerations were awesome though...... oh and they took underwater pics which they tried to sell us for $5 a pic or $150 for all pics. pics were high quality but seemed excessively high priced after paying for private boat tour.
